A double-fixed rear hub originally designed for use on the track but now used by a lot of couriers in London because of their durability. The Goldtec has the enviable reputation of being virtually bombproof.

The sprocket is secured by the use of a standard Shimano-thread lock ring. It isn't supplied - but the Andel lockring we sell is compatible with this thread, and is what we recommend for use with these hubs. The normal chainline is approx 45mm from the centre of the hub.

The Goldtec hubs are available individually, either rear or front. We stock the rear hub in 120mm, other sizes are available (130mm or 135mm) but we usually buy these in per order, email for availability. The front hub has a standard 100mm axle length.
