In the shadow of the Shard, it was a real pleasure to attend the first London Bridge Cargo Bike Expo. This was a real talking shop for anyone involved with green last mile delivery.
The event, organised by Team London Bridge and mp Smarter Travel, gathered interested parties together in Guy’s Courtyard to display and talk about a large array of bikes, trikes and quads. Representatives of courier companies, local BID groups, hire companies, Councillors, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, press and members of the public and local business spent a happy couple of hours networking and sharing ideas.
Outspoken Cycles shared a spot with Zedify London, they talked delivery services while I tackled bikes, grants, maintenance, infrastructure and learned much about Bids. I was very surprised by how few companies were aware of the grants available for purchase of Cargo Bikes – for details click here.
